This study purposes to: 1. Describe in detailed terminology the various "types of ground and/or polished stone implements and weapons found in the Rizal-Bulakan region. 2. Work out a detailed terminology for Philippine ground and polished stone implements. 3. Compare the stone implement "types" found in the Rizal-Bulakan region with those found elsewhere within the Philippines and with those found outside the Philippines, in neighboring areas. 4. Represent cartographically the "type" distributions discussed above. 5. Draw what conclusions are indicated as to the origins and subsequent migrations of certain ones of the various "types" discussed above.
