This study aimed to present a pattern of typology applicable to the obsidian non-geometric microlith industry in the Philippines and presented data by which the obsidian non-geometric microliths can be securely positioned in time and space.
This study concluded that "the obsidian on-geometric microlith tools were the maintenance tools used by a hunting gathering society that existed during the period between the late Paleolithic and the early Neolithic in the Batangas area.
